This lovely canine is Lucy. As you can see she is a standard-size shorthaired Dachshund. She was born in the spring of 2000 at Dustnee Kennels in Cornwall, Prince Edward Island .

Lucy's favorite activity is sleeping (if you can call that an activity). When she is awake she enjoys chasing her ball around the backyard or barking at people who have the nerve to walk on her street. She is also very fond of having her very long belly rubbed and can often be found stretched out on her back waiting patiently until some human will perform the required service.

When Lucy grows up she wants to be a Doberman and can be found most days practicing the big bark that those dogs have. This is despite the fact that she has that very distinctive "weinerdog smell" and the velvety soft ears that are a special characteristic of her breed.

As with Mavis, Lucy has a tendency to get slighty porky. To keep this under control Lucy is fed on the finest diet crunchies from the nice folks at Science Diet.
