The demonic looking feline to the left is Mavis. Mavis was born sometime in March 1989 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She came to live with Elaine and Rob in the fall of that year in Ottawa.

During her time with them, she has managed to lose all exceptone of her teeth. This is not the fault of anything that the Wolfe's have done because she is fed nothing but the finest kitty crunchies from the good folks at Science Diet.

Mavis currently inhabits Erin's playroom and is the constant nemesis of Lucy. There is a theory, among those in the know, that the reason that Mavis and Lucy are not the best of friends is that they alternate spending the night sleeping in the bed with the big people.

Now some people might think that it is odd that a cat of Mavis' advanced age is still perky and running around. Well, truth be told, she really isnt that active. Mavis' major hobbies are napping and complaining that she doesnt have enough food to eat. As mentioned before, she is on a diet of very light geriatric crunchies. This has kept her weight down from her earlier porkiness to the point where she is now actually lighter than Lucy.
